Illegal Immigration - California Car Insurance

Immigration's bottom line. Opponents of immigration reform have taken to predicting that the United States would suffer the ruination of all but apple pie if Congress grants a path to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal entrants now in the country. Be warned, they say, because creating those new citizens would lead to the biggest explosion in welfare spending in decades.
In fact, opening the golden door a bit wider would be an excellent bargain. So say the numbers from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, based on an authoritative, unbiased study of the costs and benefits generated by the immigration plan approved by the U.S. Senate in May. The CBO projects that enabling most of the 11 million to eventually become citizens and allowing more people in as temporary guest workers would cost the federal treasury basically nothing
